Linda R. Eckwood, 70, of Peoria, IL  passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 11, 1949, in Brinkley, AR, to Sammy and Imigine Davie Eckwood.

She is survived by her three daughters Ramona Cook, Antoinette (Rodney) Johnson, Catina (Jeff) Thompson, three sons Dedric Eckwood, Shaun Eckwood, Courtney Eckwood, three sisters Barbara Eckwood, Rosie (John) gingery, Lisa Eckwood Brown, two brothers James Eckwood, Robert Eckwood, thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four uncles, two aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her father, mom, brother, one nephew, and one great-nephew preceded her in death.

Linda worked at Sharon Health Care System in Peoria and Marshall's department store where she later retired  Linda loved to spending time with family and friends playing cards and shopping. She also loved playing the slot machines.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be 11:00 am Monday, July 13, 2020, at Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church.
