Linda L Prescott

Linda L. Prescott, 66, of Peoria passed away on Wednesday November 12, 2014 at her residence in Peoria after a short but courageous battle with Lung Cancer and Leukemia. She was born on June 9th, 1948, in Peoria, Illinois to George and Norma (Clark) Conett. They preceded her in death. She married A.J. (Arthur) Prescott on June 23, 1973, in Peoria, Illinois. They spent 41 beautiful years as soul mates. He survives. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Francine Spay (Loni) from Columbia, MO, Connie Rogers of East Peoria and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Norma (Clark) Conett, Brother Gary Conett and her beautiful daughter Stephanie. Linda was an avid reader, loved fishing, gardening, sewing and loved spending time with her loving husband A.J. Linda also loved spending time with her beautiful golden retrievers Dudley and Lucy. She was a graduate of Peoria High class of 1966 and was a bartender at The Fish House in Peoria for 38 years and recently retired from a long dedicated career. In Lieu of Funeral Services and Visitation there will be a Day of Celebration on Saturday April 4, 2015 at the Prescott Residence for friends and family to celebrate the life of Linda. Memorial donations may be made to the Peoria Animal Welfare Shelter (PAWS).
