Lola Feinholz Etaugh

Lola Feinholz Etaugh, 89, of Peoria passed away peacefully on Thursday October 11, 2012 at Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria with her daughter at her side. Lola was born on April 10, 1923 in Camp Grove, IL the daughter of Clarence and Neva D. Reed Nellinger. She married Curtis Feinholz on November 24, 1961. She later married Alfred Etaugh on August 4, 1988. He passed away on October 1, 2001 in Peoria. Surviving is one daughter Debi (John) Pollard of Peoria, three sons Larry (Diane) Claudin of Peoria; Don Claudin of Chicago and Jim Feinholz of Peoria. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren Timothy, Amy, Katie, Kim, Kelly, Michael, Tracy, and Steven as well as 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. One sister Helen (Jim) Gale of Peoria also survives. One son Michael Claudin, sister Norma, and brother Jim preceded her in death. She worked as a bar manager and waitress for several area restaurants . She was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, and loved tending to her yard and garden. She was well known for being able to break into any dance at the drop of a hat. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Memorial service is scheduled for 1pm Monday October 15, 2012 at Northwest United Methodist Church, 3800 W. War Memorial Dr., Peoria with Rev. Randy Douglass officiating. Visitation will be from 11am until 1pm Monday at the church. Private burial of her remains will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
