Bertha L. "Lory" McKenrick Carlock, 64 of Peoria passed away at her residence on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 10:35 am with her family by her side. She was born on July 9, 1952 in Rock Island Illinois to Evelyn (Samuelson) Jacobson and Frank McKenrick. She is survived by her two daughters Angela (Tracy) Krigner of Peoria and Renee (Randy) Renfroe of St. Louis Mo. Also surviving are six grandchildren Dustin Krigner 22, Shyanna Krigner 15, Jerry McKenrick 23, Mallory McKenrick 21, Felicia McKenrick 19, and MaKayla McKenrick 18. Lory is also survived by two stepchildren Joey L. Carlock and Jennifer L. Carlock and six step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Larry J. Carlock. Lory came from a big loving wonderful family with numerous brothers and sisters that live throughout the United States. Lory worked in the cafeteria at OSF in Peoria for many years before starting her final job at Ideal Troy where she worked for over twenty years as a presser. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Celebration of life will be held August 14, 2016 from 5pm- 8pm at The Eagles Club, located at 1704 South East Lane Peoria Il. 61605.
