Lynn A. Stanfill, age 86, of Farmington, formerly of Bartonville, Illinois, passed away at 9:05 P.M. Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Farmington Village Nursing & Rehab.

She was born April 16, 1939, in Peoria to Stanley and Eloise Morgan. She married Jim Strube on August 16, 1956. She later married Vernon Stanfill on December 31, 1986. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her sister, and brother-in-law, Joby & Dick Maxwell.

Lynn is survived by her daughter, Jamie (Scott) Briney; one granddaughter, Dr. Lynse Briney (Brent) Widler; two great-grandsons, Lucas and Zack, and several nieces and nephews.

Lynn truly loved working on home projects, interior decorating, and gardening, and she had a wonderful ability to connect with others. She was always eager to start a chat with anyone she met.

In accordance with Lynn's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. While there will be no public services, her family will privately celebrate her life and later arrange a private burial.
