Marvin E. Ennis Sr

Marvin E. Ennis, Sr. 77, of Bellevue, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2012 at his residence. He was born on April 12, 1935 in Amsterdam, MO the son of Isaac and Blanche Stenstrom Ennis. He married Betty Phillips, and she passed away on May 28, 2008. He was also preceded in death by two sisters. Surviving is one son Marvin E. (Linda) Ennis Jr. of East Peoria, one daughter Kay Ann Ennis of Mt. Pleasant, IA, one step son Bill (Trudy) Sholtz of West Peoria, two sisters Doris Nickles of Warsaw, MO, and Linda (Buck) Jones of Peoria. Further surviving are two brothers Ralph Ennis and Delbert Ennis both of Peoria as well as 4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was a US Air Force Veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He worked for many years as a security officer for Methodist Medical Center in Peoria before his retirement. Cremation rites have been accorded with graveside services scheduled for 11am Monday June 4, 2012 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria with Military Honors.
