Mary Ann Strohl, 80, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

She was born June 29, 1946, in Decatur, Illinois, to William and Evelyn (Green) Sherrell. She married William Henry "Bill" Strohl on September 17, 1967, in Decatur, Illinois. He passed away on October 15, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Wade Sherrell, and her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Jean Crusen.

She is survived by her son, David (Kathy) Strohl; three grandsons, Jeff (Melissa), Matt, and Nick (Jessica); and seven great-grandchildren, Aidan, Brooke, Conner, Landon, Juney, Charles, and Kayli.

Mary Ann was a homemaker and an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs.
