Mary J. Milonas, 53, of Peoria passed away on Friday evening at OSF ST. Francis Medical Center in Peoria surrounded by her family. She was born on March 14, 1959 in Peoria the daughter of Nathan and Joan Lilya Hoagland. She married Stephen J. Milonas on July 19, 1982 Matlock, WA. Surviving is her husband, three daughters Rosemary (Robert) Jourdan, Anna (Sean) Bart, and Katie Milonas and her boyfriend Nathan Vollstedt all of Peoria. She is also survived by her father of Peoria, four grandchildren Savanna, Ethan, Cole, and Abbigail as well as three brothers John (Suzi) Rudd, Tim (Cheryl) Rudd, and Nathan (Denise) Hoagland, and one sister Kathy (Jim) Stomberg all of Peoria. Further surviving is one sister in law Anita Rudd of Peoria as well as many nieces and nephews. Her mother, one brother Sam Rudd, and one sister Debbie Hoagland preceded her in death. Mary was a 1977 graduate of Limestone Community high school. She was a homemaker and a very loving mother and wife and was also a second mother to many others. Mary enjoyed going on long drives and fishing with her husband and family, and was happy spending Sunday evening with her family for Sunday dinners preparing the food from scratch. Cremation Rites have been accorded with a memorial service at 7pm on Tuesday June 12, at Memorial Christian Church, 2507 Newman Parkway in Peoria with the Rev. Arvil Bass officiating. Visitation will begin at 4pm and continue until the time of her service. Memorials in name may be given to the Three Sister's Clinic at OSF St. Francis Medical Center or Tazewell Animal Protective Society (TAPS).
