Michael D. Burks

Michael D. Burks, 65, of Bloomington passed away on May 20, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 5, 1949 in Pasco, WA the son of James and Pauletta Fortner Burks. He married Margaret Ferrara on July 24, 1982 in Bloomington. Surviving are his wife, two children Jason (Brooke) Smith of Clinton, IL and Layla (Mike) Roberts of Bloomington. Also surviving are six grandchildren Justice, Anthony, Valin, Sofie Bella Smith all of Clinton and Savannah and Mason Carter both of Bloomington and one brother Jimmy Burks of Phoenix, AZ. Mike owned and operated Maximum Cleaning Services in Bloomington for 15 years. The family would like to extend a thank you Pankaj Kumar MD and his entire staff and OSF Hospice for the compassionate care and support. Cremation rites have been accorded.
