Neil F. Bell Jr

Neil F. "Muggs" Bell Jr., 61, of Peoria passed away at 10:22 a.m., Sunday, August 20, 2017 at OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. He was born on June 9, 1956 in Kansas City, MO son of Neil and Gertrude Wendling Bell Sr. Surviving are one brother Russell Bell of Peoria, three sisters Linda (Bruce) Cool of North Pekin, IL Cheryl (Andy) Cool of Peoria and Mary (Tim) Bursott of Peoria. Also surviving are 2 nephews, and 6 nieces including Mike and Lina who helped with Neil's care along with several great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are several cousins including Ken and Cheryl Davidson. He worked for Alcast as a laborer for many years. Neil enjoyed many things in life including fishing, his dog Dezi, watching old western movies and hanging with family and having an occasional beer with his friends. At Neil's request, Cremation rites will be accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials in his name may be given to Illinois Cancer Care.
