O'Linda Lyons

O'Linda S. Lyons, 95, of Washington passed away at 6:04am Friday January 18, 2013 at Washington Christian Village in Washington. She was born on September 4, 1917 in Salem, IL the daughter of Joseph J. and Susan K. Cochran Just. She married Archie Lyons Sr. in 1934 he passed away on August 18, 1956. One daughter Ethel Forsberg as well as one grandson, 4 brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons Archie Lyons of Washington and Dave (Janis) Lyons of Peoria. 11 grandchildren further survive her. She worked for US Postal Service as a clerk for many years in the Peoria office. Cremation Rites have been accorded. The family will receive friends on Saturday January 26th from 11am until noon at Mason Funeral Home in Germantown Hills to celebrate O'Linda's life. Burial will be at a later date in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
