Patricia A. Gunther

Patricia A. Gunther, 80, of Peoria passed away at 11:29pm Thursday, November 6, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on October 4, 1934 in Galesburg a daughter to the late David and Virginia Campbell Casteel. She first married Joseph Vance Palmer in 1953, he passed away in 2001. She then married Richard W. Gunther on May 1, 2009 and he survives. Also surviving is one daughter Vickie (Bill) Maher of Peoria twin sons David Palmer and his life partner Jim and Danny Palmer all of San Francisco, CA. three grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Further surviving is one stepson Richard (Nancy) Gunther Jr of Peoria. Two Step-daughters Chris (Bob) Crowe of Peoria and Sue (Bryan) Yocum of Creve Coeur, IL. and two step-grandsons. She was preceded in death by one son Joseph Palmer, one sister and two brothers. She was co-owner of Palmer Graphics in Honolulu, HI before retiring and moving back to Peoria in 1994. Cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate Patricia's life will be held Tuesday November 18, 2014 from 6pm until 8pm at Memorial Christian Church 2507 W. Newman Pkwy in Peoria.
