Patricia (Roberts) Harland

February 24, 1954 — January 17, 2020

Patricia Ann (Roberts) Harland 65, of Kewanee, IL passed away at 5:40 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2020, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born February 24, 1954, in Kewanee the daughter of Henry and Georgia (Clark) Roberts.  She married Ronald Joseph Harland September. 27, 1969. He passed away on November 20, 2012. She had 2 brothers and 6 sisters, Linda (Dave) Poppen, Penny (Mike) Hutchinson, Henry Jr. (Malina) D.O.D (Oct.2010), Colleen (Dave) Reese, Donna (Dave) Edens, Katherine Burgland, Polly (Dave) Moore, Russel (Melissa) Roberts.

Surviving are 3 daughters and 1 son, and her favorite child, her Fur baby Molly Mae. Barbara (Jimmy) Schwigen, September Ingle, Bruce (Julie) Harland, Marcia Ensley. She had 16 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren and counting.

She was employed for 23 years at the Kewanee Boiler Manufacturing. She reluctantly, retired from Royal Oaks Care Center in December of 2019. She was as sweet as sugar and stubborn as a mule. She loved life and the time she spent with family. She loved reading books, the color yellow, and eating dessert before dinner (there was never enough cake). Her favorite songs were "Celebrate" by Kool and the Gang and "You are My Sunshine". She started every morning with a cup of hot chocolate and a walk with Molly Mae. She never met a stranger and she will be missed by many. Love you Bunches!

Cremation Rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate her life will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2020 at the American Legion Post 31, 1509 Railroad Ave. in Kewanee. Memorials can be directed to her Granddaughter Lacey Rios.
