Patricia Schalk Masson

Patricia Marie Schalk Masson, 59, of Quito Ecuador passed away at 10:20am Sunday Dec 2, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on Oct 18, 1953 to Delmar E. and Etta M. Schalk. She married Cristobal Masson on March 13, 1973 in Cook County, IL. Surviving are three sons Orlando (Ivonne Narvaez) Masson Schalk, Alfonso Masson Schalk and Jonathan (Susana Saenz) Masson Schalk. 6 grandchildren, 4 brothers Eugene (Judy) Schalk, Del (Starr) Schalk, Mark (Laurie) Schalk and David (Denise) Schalk and one sister Sandra Schalk. Patricia was a homemaker and served as Director of the Foreign Language Department at Salesian Polytechnic University in Quito, Ecuador for 15 years. She had been a member of the El Giron Catholic Church in Quito. Cremation rites have been accorded with a family memorial service being held on Tuesday Dec 4th, 2012. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in her name to the Illinois Cancer Care Center in Peoria.
