Patricia M. Strube

Patricia M. Strube, 81, of Peoria passed away peacefully at her home on August 28th 2012 She was born on November 14, 1930 in Chicago the daughter of Andrew and Frances Barnes. She married John R. Strube Sr. on August 11, 1950 in Peoria. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and one grandson Patrick. She is survived by two sons John R. (Carol) Strube Jr. and James F. (Dianna) Strube all of Peoria. Further surviving are four grandchildren; Shelby, Laura (PFC Justin) Kirby, Andrea and James, as well as three great grandchildren; Logan, Juliana and Jenson. She is further survived by one brother Floyd "Sonny"(Beverly) Webb of Peoria. She worked for 25 years at Pleasant Hill Elementary School on Malone St. in Peoria before retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 265 in Peoria. She loved her family, shopping and having coffee with her friends. Cremation rites have been accorded with a celebration of life being held on Sunday September 2nd from 2pm until 5pm. at the Eagles Lodge, 265, 1704 E. Lane St. Peoria. In lieu of flowers memorials in her name may be given to T.A.P.S., Alzheimer's Association-Central Illinois Chapter, or Make a Wish Foundation of America.
