Peter (Jr.) Munson

Peter Munson, Jr., 83, of North Pekin, IL, passed away at 7:02 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Unity Point Health-Pekin.

He was born on October 21, 1936 in Hannibal, MO, to Peter and Hazel (Chandler) Munson, Sr. He married Phyllis Rosenkrans on June 3, 1967 in Hannibal, MO.

Surviving are his wife Phyllis of North Pekin; daughter Michelle (Terry) Scott of North Pekin; son Peter Munson III of Pekin; grandsons Justin (Stephanie) Scott and Jacob Scott; great-grandsons Caleb Scott and Hayden Scott; and two step-grandchildren Molly and Hannah; and two step-great-grandchildren Patience and Connor. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Peter was a truck driver for the U.S. Postal Service.
