Richard Lee Corp Jr. 52 of Peoria passed away at 7:47pm Sunday September 25, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on August 17, 1959 in Peoria the son of Richard L. and Jackie Harmon Corp Sr. Surviving are four daughters Amanda Knox (Travis Wright) Courtney Knox, Kimberly (Amara) Sako all of Peoria; Angel Corp Cummings of East Peoria and one son Ryan Corp Staley of Peoria. He is further survived by one brother Rodney Corp of East Peoria, five sisters Susie Ingle of Pekin, Brenda (Gene) Grotts of Bartonville, Patty (Jim) Legg of Pekin, Tammy Thompson (Chuck McMahan) of Manito and Rena Corp (Tony Phillips) of Pekin. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren Travis, Kameron, De'Mani, Keyarra, Dyamon, Amelia, Dakoeta, Ashton, and Payton and one grandchild along the way. He also has surviving his long time friend Tim, and his nurse Amy. His parents, one brother Danny, and one Niece Jennifer Corp preceded him in death. He was a devoted father and grandfather and his home was a welcoming gathering place for his family and many friends. Cremation rites will be accorded. His daughters will host a private memorial for friends and family at a later date.
