Richard W. Gunther, Sr.

Richard W. Gunther Sr., 88, of Peoria, IL passed away at 6:45 am on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at his residence.

He was born on March 5, 1934, in Peoria, the son of Victor and Wilma Lottman. He married Diane Rabold on August 31, 1956 and she passed away on July 31, 2006. He then married Patricia Palmer on May 1, 2009, and she passed away on November 6, 2014. Two sisters Shirley Gunther and Carol Jean Gunther also preceded him in death.

Surviving are one son, Richard (Nancy) Gunther Jr., of Peoria; two daughters, Chris (Bob) Crowe of Peoria and Sue (Bryan) Yocum of Washington, IL; two grandsons, Tony (Jana) Gunther and Kyle (Kenzie) Gunther; three great-grandsons, Max, Lincoln, and Zeke Gunther; and two sisters, Dorothy (Duke) Pitcher of Brimfield and Merijo (Mike) Carnell-Dailey of Peoria.
