Richard C. Luncsford

Richard C. Clifton Sr., 74, of Peoria passed away December 30, 2019, at OSF ST. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born on November 12, 1945, in Peoria the son of Clifton and Lela Ritter Luncsford.  He married Diana Baker on December 7, 1965, in Peoria.  She passed away on August 17, 2019. His parents and three sisters also preceded him in death.

Surviving are two sons Richard (Diana) Luncsford of Trivoli, IL and Andrew (Tonya) Luncsford of Bellevue, IL.  Also surviving are four grandchildren Erick, Austin, Andrea and Lane along with five great grandchildren.

A U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam conflict.  Rick worked for Boilermakers Local 60 for many years retiring in 2004.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of Rick's life is scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Bartonville American Legion Post 979, 4501 S. Airport Rd, in Bartonville from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Memorials in his name may be given to American Legion Post 979.
