Ricky Lyn Bollinger, 62, of Farmington, entered into rest peacefully, July 31, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born to Franklin Eugene and Nona Mae (Gaa) Bollinger March 20, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio. He joined his life with Susan Finfrock on March 19th, 1984 and she survives. Also surviving are his Mother; his children Frank (Jill) Bollinger, Melissa (Rick) Linthicum, Jody White and Kimberly (Jeremy) Kling; his Brothers Danny (Dawn) Bollinger and Roy Bollinger; Sister Sandra Scott; 10 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Nieces and 2 Nephews. His Father preceded him in Death. He was a professional over-the-road truck driver most of his young life but was best known for his handyman skills and fun loving smile for everyone he met. He was a Loving Husband, Father, Brother, Son, Grandfather, Uncle, Nephew and Cousin. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held 5pm Monday August 4, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Farmington. A time to celebrate Rick's life will begin at 6pm at the American Legion in Farmington. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Illinois Cancer Center.
