Ricky "Rick" Williams

Ricky "Rick" L. Williams 62, died peacefully surrounded by family on December 22, 2015 at the residence of his sister, in Normal, IL. Rick was born on February 27, 1953 in Peoria, IL the son of Barry and Velma Holdman Williams Rick is survived by three sons, Dan Williams of Bartonville, IL, Andy Williams of Holiday, FL and Craig Williams of Peoria, IL. Also surviving are one granddaughter Eryn Williams, and two grandsons, Tyson and Charlie Williams; one sister, Brenda McFall of Normal, IL and one brother Ron Williams of Fort Wayne, IN. His parents, and one brother Dan Williams preceded him in death. Rick was a 1971 graduate from Woodruff High School in Peoria, IL. He was a journeyman in the printing trade and worked in Peoria and Windsor, Ontario. Rick's best attributes were qualities that he didn't even know that he had. His work ethic inspired others to challenge themselves. Cremation rites have been accorded. The family will receive visitors on Monday evening, December 28, 2015 from 5:30 to 7:00 at Peoria First Church of the Nazarene, 5504 N. University St. Peoria, IL 61614. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 with his brother Ron Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Peoria First Church of the Nazarene.
