Robert "Kojak" Ford (Jimmy) age 69 of Peoria, Illinois passed away at 7:00 a.m. Thursday, Sept 17th 2015, at Heights Health Care Nursing Home in Peoria Heights, IL. He was born on July 26, 1946 in Coffeeville, MS to Johnny Ford and Thelma Riddick. He married Alneida Ford in August 1977 in Peoria and she survives. Robert is survived by a son, Robert Deshaun Ford of Peoria, a daughter LaShaunda Campbell Washington of Albany, GA, four grandchildren, Terrell and Cameron Ford of Peoria, Derrick Washington Jr., of Fort Drums, NY and Lynsey Washington of Albany, GA. Also surviving are two brothers, Archbishop Arthur L. (Maggie) Kelly of St. Louis MO., Elder Garland (Lottie) Kimble of Memphis, TN. Five sisters, Elder Hazel J. Gulley of Marietta, GA, Katie Mae Jackson of Memphis, TN, Clara Riddick of Peoria, IL, Clyde Riddick of Austell, GA, and Sandra Riddick of Marietta, GA and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who adored him. His parents, two brothers Lawrence Kelly and John Kelley, precede him in death. Robert professed Christ at an early age. In the late 70's, he owned Ford trucking company in Peoria, IL and he drove across the country. He was also an "Original" Atomic Jets and an "Original" Peace Brothers. He loved life, loved having fun and was the family comedian. A Memorial Service will be held at the Potters House Of Peoria, 1015 S. Matthew Saturday September 26, 2015.
