Robert Miller

Robert "Bob" L. Miller, 75, of Mackinaw passed away at 6:35pm Friday Nov 23, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria surrounded by his family. He was born on Oct 20, 1937 in Peoria the son of Howard and Mary Pelz Miller. Surviving are two sons Michael (Kelly) Miller of Magnolia, TX and Larry Miller of Woodward, OK. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren as well as two sisters Sandra Grieves of Bryant and Janice (Tim) Sligar of Edwards. Also surviving are three nieces and five nephews as well as his extended family Doug (Connie) Kern of Tremont, and Lori Curley of East Peoria. His parents Howard and Florence Miller; Mary and Jim Boughton, one sister Linda Miller and one brother Gary preceded him in death. An honorably discharged US Navy Veteran. He was a sheet metal worker for many years last working at Standard Sheet Metal in Peoria retiring in 2000. He was a member of Amvets Post #64, and the Sheet Metal Union Local #1 both in Peoria. Cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service scheduled for 2pm Saturday Dec 1st at the Amvets Post #64 237 NE Monroe Peoria. There will be no visitation.
