Rodney A. Wallace

Rodney A. Wallace, 45, of Peoria passed away at 7:07 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born October 7, 1971 in Peoria the son of Leslie and Mary Snyder Wallace. He married Tina Carrigan on April 9, 2005 in Peoria and she survives. Also surviving are one brother Russell (Sherry) Wallace of Peoria; one sister Ramona Wallace of Bushnell, two nephews Charlie (Michelle) Wallace and Matthew "Bubby" Wallace along with one niece Victoria (Jason) Phillips all of Peoria. Further surviving is JJ Morgan whom he thought of his granddaughter along with several other nieces and nephews. His parents and one brother Roy preceded him in death. He worked for VCNA Prairie Materials Inc. in Peoria as a truck driver. Rodney was a kind and gentle soul who loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed playing pool, golfing, bowling, hunting and was a fan of the Seattle Seahawks. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2017 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Peoria. Visitation will be one-hour prior to his service also at the church.
