Roger Anderson

Roger Anderson of Peoria passed away peacefully at 7:00pm on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Heartland of Riverview in East Peoria with family by his side at the age of 59. He was born on June 18, 1953 in Lodi, CA the son of Rev. J.C. and Evelyn Steyer Anderson. Surviving are three brothers Douglas, Virgil, and Ronald. Two nieces Abbygayle and Elizabeth as well as five nephews Matthew, Brandon, Nathanael, Jason, and Phillip further survive Roger. Roger attended public schools in Peoria and was a 1972 graduate of Richwoods high school. He worked for many years as a laborer for Becker Brothers and was a member of Laborers Union Local 165. He enjoyed baseball and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Cremation rites have been accorded with a burial of his cremated remains to be held at Pottstown Cemetery on Friday August 24th at 2:00pm with the Rev. Richard Springsteen from the Northwest Baptist Church officiating.
