Roger Jording

Roger C. Jording, 64, of Peoria passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 1, 1949 in Washington, the son of Walter E. and Caroline A. Seggerman Jording. Surviving are two brothers Eugene (Barbara) Jording of Eureka and Richard (Nancy) Jording of Secor. Also surviving is one sister Sandy (Jerry) Amigoni of Eureka. One brother Chuck and one sister Pam Jording preceded him in death. He was an honorably discharged US Army Vietnam Veteran. He worked for the State of Illinois as a mechanic for 20 years. He was a member of the Secor Sportsman's Club and member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Secor. Cremation rites have been accorded. The family will receive friends at the Secor Sportsman's Club to celebrate Roger's life on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 1pm until 6pm. A private burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery at a later date.
