Ronald Louis Dothager

Ronald Louis Dothager, 83, of East Peoria, IL, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at his home surrounded by family.

Ron was born September 11, 1938, in Mulberry Grove, IL, the son of Alfred and Rotha Kern Dothager. He married Judy Cearlock.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; two sisters  Jean (Jim) Roberts of Greenville IL. and Kathy Fuson of Peoria IL; one brother Alan Dothager of Pittsburgh, IL; one daughter Christy (Lee)  Ioerger of Roanoke IL; one son Fred Dothager of East Peoria, IL; 3 grandsons, Leland Ioerger III, Regan  Ioerger of Chillicothe IL. and Matthew (Alicia)  Ioerger of Metamora IL, and Erik Ioerger of Metamora IL.  along with six beautiful great-grandchildren.

His parents, Rotha Dothager and Alfred Dothager, two sisters, Judy Seibert, Joyce Joliff, brothers Floyd and Carroll Dothager, all preceded him in death.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Caterpillar.

Ron was a loving husband, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved his family with all his heart and soul. He loved fishing outings with his family at their cabin in Southern Illinois.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family service will be held.
