Ronald R. Wilson

Ronald R. Wilson, 75, of Peoria passed away at 3:20pm Friday June 10, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on April 20, 1936 in Peoria the son of Robert C. and Verna L. Vanderheydt Wilson. He married Patsy A. Sims on December 18, 1964 in Peoria. Surviving are his wife of Peoria and three children Cheryl (Allen) Hildebrand of Dahinda Jodi (Shane) Simmons of Pekin, and Robert Wilson of Peoria. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ron was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He spent the majority of his career as a sales associate with Isaac-Walker Company in Peoria. Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service to celebrate Ron's life is scheduled for 6pm Friday June 17, 2011 at Liberty Baptist Church 2105 Sheridan Road in Pekin, with Rev. Timothy Najpaver officiating. Visitation will be from 5pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be given to a charity of their choice.
