Roschelle Apodaca

Brimfield, Illinois - Roschelle Dawn Apodaca, 60, a devoted wife, loving mother, and amazing Gigi (grandmother), passed away peacefully at her home on October 10, 2025.

Born on April 19, 1965, Roschelle was the cherished daughter of Charlotte Hankinson and the late Gary Hankinson. She grew up in a loving family alongside her brother, Tye Hankinson, who survives her.

Roschelle found the love of her life in Paul Apodaca, whom she married on May 24, 1986. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two devoted sons: Nathan Apodaca of Denver, Colorado, and Isaac Apodaca (Laurel) of Germantown Hills.

Roschelle's greatest joys were found in simple pleasures and the company of her family. She was an avid bird watcher, eagerly anticipating the return of her beloved Orioles each season. She treasured watching her grandson, Waylon, play baseball and soccer, and simply spending time making memories with her loved ones. Her warmth, generosity, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Roschelle is survived by her husband, Paul Apodaca; her mother, Charlotte Hankinson; her sons, Nathan and Isaac (Laurel); her brother, Tye Hankinson; and her two beloved grandchildren, Waylon Apodaca and Kailynn Apodaca. She is also survived by several cherished nieces and nephews.
