Rose M. Dieckow, 75, of Bartonville passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria, IL.

She was born in Peoria on June 13, 1946, in Peoria to Clarence and Lillian Griffith Short.

Surviving are two children D. Scott Dockery of Bartonville and Robin (Zack) Fosdyck of Metamora.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Rochelle, Morgan, Kyle, Jacob, Franchesca, Ezekeil, William Davis and 8 great grandchildren along with one brother Dale Short of Washington.  One daughter Jamie Dockery, one sister Doris Barthell, one brother Robert Short all preceded her in death.

Rose was a fun loving, hardworking, kind, generous mother, and friend. To know her was to love her. She was so full of life, strong, determined and had one of the best senses of humor.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A celebration of life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Kouris, 105 Elizabeth Drive in Germantown Hills.  Affordable Funeral & Cremation services of central Illinois is assisting with arrangements.
