Francis "Rudy" Willett, 80, of East Peoria passed away 4:10am on Tuesday Sept. 11, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. He was born on November 22, 1931 in Mayfield, KY the son of James Udrich and Mary Hettie Elliott Willett. He married Patricia A. Hobbs on December 2, 1950 in Fancy Farm, KY. Surviving are his wife of East Peoria, one son Joe (Mary) Willett of Pahrump, NV and one daughter Diane (Alan) Frohlichstein of Morton Grove, IL. He is also survived by four grandchildren Troy, Nikki, Natalee and Darron, one sister Stella Hobbs of Mayfield, KY and one uncle Ross Willett as well as 9 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Five brothers, two sisters preceded him in death. He was employed at Jim McComb Chevrolet in Peoria for over 40 years working in the body shop before his retirement in 1991. After his retirement from Jim McComb he worked for Rosewood Care Center and Manor Care at Riverview both in East Peoria last working several years ago. Cremation rites have been accorded with no services scheduled. Memorials may be given in his name to the American Heart Association.
