Russell E. Bishop

Russell E. Bishop, 67, of East Peoria, formerly of Canton passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 3, 2014 at his residence. He was born on July 26, 1946 in Canton the son of Dale and Neva Miller Bishop. Surviving are four brothers Gary (Cindy) Bishop of Cuba, IL; Jerry (Rhonda) Bishop of Canton; Randy (Patti) Bishop of Grand Prairie, TX; Robbie Bishop of Canton; one sister Janet (John) Gray of Canton, IL. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. His parents preceded him in death. He formerly worked for International Harvester in Canton for several years. Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial of his remains will be at Fiatt Cemetery in rural Canton.
