Sam K. Gulick

Sandra K. "Sam" Gulick, 77, of Peoria passed away at 1:46 a.m. at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. She was born on April 29, 1940 in Peoria, son of John and Golda Marth Reay. She married Jack Gulick in 1977 he passed away on December 5, 2001. One son Richard Horsley Jr., one grandson Richard E. Horsley III, four brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Surviving are four children Robert Herington, John (Kim) Herington, Paula Harris and Sandra "Luckey" (Brian Hardin) Gulick all of Peoria. Also surviving are one daughter in law Lynn Horsley of Peoria along with several step children, 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Further surviving are two brothers Jim (Pat) Reay of East Peoria and Charles (Dorothy) Reay of Camp Grove, IL, along with one sister in law Carol Reay of East Peoria. She was a mother and grandmother to all that knew her and will be dearly missed. Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the HyVee banquet facility, 4125 N. Sheridan Rd Peoria, IL.
