Sharon J. Buchanan

Sharon J. Buchanan, 76, of Peoria, passed away at 7:32 am on Saturday March 2, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on August 4, 1936 in Pekin the daughter of William and Lou Moyer. She married Clarence "Don" Buchanan on April 10, 1953 in Lincoln, IL. and he preceded her in death on August 29, 1999. Surviving are three sons Michael (Barbara) Buchanan of Peoria, Mark (Diane) Buchanan of Canton and Matthew Buchanan of Las Vegas, NV. Also surviving are four grandchildren, one brother William; two sisters Marlene and Diane. She was a homemaker the majority of her life, but did enjoy working in her later years at Norwalk Furniture in Peoria. Cremation Rites have been accorded with a private family inurnment at American Mausoleum at a later date. Memorials in her name may be given to American Cancer Society.
