Sheila M. Lambie

PEORIA - Sheila M. Lambie, 63, of Peoria passed away at 5:02 p.m., September 2, 2017, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. She was born on May 22, 1954, in Pekin, IL to Robert L. and Mabel L. (Norris) Parrish. She married Peter A. Lambie, Jr. on February 26, 1972. Her parents and two brothers, James Parrish and Robert Parrish Jr., preceded her in death. Sheila is survived by her husband; three daughters, Heather (Erich) Thomas of Princeville, IL; Christine Towery of Coconut Creek, FL, and Deanna (Kieran) Gray of Pueblo, CO; eight grandchildren, Anthony Towery, Brandy Bessler, Nicholas Miller, Sophia Miller, Kya Gray, Koen Gray, Maeve Thomas and Asher Thomas; one brother, Steve Parrish; four sisters, Linda Locke, Carole Parrish Reading, Sandy Hallam and Mary Cooling Deford; and many nieces and nephews. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who truly lived for her family. She enjoyed playing cards with her family, loved the St. Louis Cardinals and spent many years at her husband's softball games. Sheila worked for Aetna Insurance. Cremation rites have been accorded.
