Shirlee Clark

Shirlee A. Clark, 84, of Princeville,  passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her cherished family.

Born on January 19, 1940, to Fred and Maude (Camp) Miller, Shirlee embarked on a beautiful journey when she married James M. Clark on March 17, 1956, in Pontiac. Their enduring love remains strong as he survives her.

Shirlee's legacy continues through her devoted children: Jeff Clark and Dan (Vickie) Clark, both of Princeville; Victoria (Rob) Martin of Peoria; and Susan (Mike) Draper of Van Alstyne, TX. She is also remembered fondly by ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren who carry forward her spirit.

Preceded in death by her beloved parents, three brothers, and three sisters, Shirlee's life was rich with love and family connections.

For many years, she brought joy to others while working at The Village Café in Princeville, and she was a dedicated member of the Northwest Church of Christ in Peoria.

Shirlee was an extraordinary wife and mother; her warmth and kindness will leave an enduring impact on all who knew her.

Cremation rites have been honored, and a celebration of life will be planned for a future date. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Akron-Princeville Fire Department.
