Stanley W. Moritz

Stanley W. Moritz, 70, of West Peoria passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 19, 2013 at Cornerstone Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Peoria Heights. He was born on April 6, 1943 in Lowpoint, IL the son of Herman and Laura Johnson Moritz. Surviving is his special friend and caregiver Linda Keown, his loyal buddies Tuff and Sydney as well as many other cherished friends. Stanley was a farmer in his younger years, later working for Lowes Home Improvement Store in Peoria for many years. To honor Stan's wishes his remains will be cremated with a memorial service scheduled for 1pm on Monday June 24th at Mason Funeral Home in Germantown Hills. Burial will be at a later date in St. Peter Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Benson. In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
