Stephen M. Parker

Stephen M. Parker, 56, Peoria Heights passed away at 8:55am Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Heights Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Peoria Heights. He was born on November 3, 1959 in Peoria the youngest son of Richard H. and Nancy J. Garrett Parker. He married Linda S. Bond on May 7, 1992 in Pekin. He is survived by his best friend and wife of Peoria Heights, one brother Kenny Parker and one sister Brenda Langfeldt both of Peoria. Also surviving is one niece, two nephews along with a host of other family members. His parents preceded him in death. He worked for various places including Foster and Gallagher, Peoria Production and lastly Vonachen Services Inc. Steve enjoyed all sports, but was an avid St. Cardinal's baseball fan and Chicago Bears fan as well as an enthusiastic collector of coins and baseball cards. He was a Christian and attended Second Baptist Church in Peoria as a child. Steve was truly a one of a kind and will be missed by all. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for 5pm Monday, March 7, 2016 at Second Baptist Church, 6417 W Farmington Road in Peoria. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at a later date in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Memorials in his name may be to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
