Steven Hawk

Steven "Yo Treeman" Eugene Hawk, 51, of Vandalia, IL passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 25, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born on April 7, 1962 in Vandalia the son of Noah E. and Doris J. Curry Hawk. He married Molly A. Spence on April 23, 1983 in Vandalia. He is survived by his children Amy (Anthony) Bowman, granddaughters Zoey and Ellie; son Justin Eugene Hawk and fiancAC. Beth Campbell; and daughter Tami Hawk, grandson Colton Hawk, and Tami's boyfriend Alex Buckman. Also surviving is one brother Mike Smith and one sister Sandra Dane. Preceding him in death was his brother George Hawk. Cremation Rites have been accorded with a Memorial Service scheduled for 10 am Monday, December 2nd at the Vandalia First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to his service. In lieu of flowers his children request memorials be given to the Vandalia UMM Coats and Shoes, Washington Tornado Victims UMCOR or UM Epworth Camp in Louisville, IL.
