Steven D. Jebe

Steven D. Jebe, 56, of Metamora formerly of Toluca passed away unexpectedly at 3am Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at his residence. He was born on November 11, 1958 in Streator, IL the son of Rolland and Ruth Koehler Jebe. He first married Sarah Jackson. He later married Susan Duckwiler on April 9, 2011 in Metamora. Surviving are his wife of Metamora, his mother of Toluca; one daughter Samanthia (William) Kopatch of LaRose, IL; two step-daughters Angie (Michael) Chivers of Palos Park, IL; Kathryn (Fredy) Castano of New Richmond, WI; one step son Eric (Janelle) Duckwiler of Alexis, IL. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, two sisters Sherry (Ken) Wild of Rockford, IL and Sandy (Gene) Cline of Toluca. His father preceded him in death on December 22, 2013. Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial service is scheduled for 8pm Friday, April 17, 2015 at New Hope Community Church, 110 E. Mt. Vernon St. in Metamora with pastor Rod Schertz officiating. The family will receive friends from 5pm until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be given to either the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
