Susan Rose Prucha

Susan Rose Prucha (Dombrowski), passed away peacefully at the age of 62, on Monday, February 20th, 2012, at Methodist Medical Center of Illinois after a fleeting battle with cancer. Susan was born on June 29th, 1949 in Chicago, IL where she spent most of her life. She raised three lovely daughters, which were her pride and joy in life along with her 10 grandchildren. She worked for Gray Hill Inc (LaGrange, IL) for more than 10 years and moved to Pekin, IL after an early retirement. She was a follower of Jesus Christ, a generous and loving woman who enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her dog (Buttons), reminiscing about old times, playing cards and gardening. Susan is survived by her three daughters, Rachel Palacios-Williams (David), Sandi Davis (Robert), and Lori Saldana (David); her grandchildren, Monica, Eric, Shane, Marcus, Alexander, Amber, Joshua and Benjamin; her siblings Joseph Dombrowski (Diane), Richard Dombrowski (Teresa), Raymond Dombrowski (Carol), Marie Jakubowski, Patsy Perez (Jose) and Lucille Serrano (Ernesto); and her many beloved nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Antoinette Featherkile, father Stanley Dombrowski, two sisters Toni Dombrowski and Irene Simigliano and two brothers Frank Hernandez and Stanley Dombrowski Jr.. She touched many lives and is missed dearly. Cremation Rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held 10am on Saturday, March 3rd at Calvary Memorial Church, 931 Lake St., Oak Park, IL.
