Susan A. Schumacher-Henderson, 62, of Peoria formerly of Varna passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 29, 2013 in Peoria. She was born on August 10, 1950 in Chicago the daughter of Robert and Dorothy Kelm Speiden. Surviving are two daughters Denise and Renee both currently residing in Denver, CO. Also surviving is one brother Ralph (Kathy) Speiden of Peoria; one sister Carol (Tim) Schoonover of Paris, MO as well as several nieces and nephews. She was a 1968 graduate of Mid-County High School in Varna, IL. Susie was very loving mother, sister, aunt and friend whose kindness, generosity, beautiful personality and smile will never be forgotten. Cremation Rites have been accorded. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 2pm until 6pm Wednesday, July 3rd, at the Pine Shelter in Detweiller Park.
