Teryl "Teri" Emory

Teryl L. "Teri" Emory, 68, of rural Chillicothe, IL, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 27, 1955, in Canton, IL, the daughter of Donald and Mary Ellis Braun. She married Jon K. Emory in Peoria on March 17, 1984.

Surviving are her husband and four sons: Scott (Angela) Moushon of Pittstown, NJ; James Moushon of Pekin, IL; Sean Emory, Donald (Sarah) Emory, both of Chillicothe, IL. and one brother, Donald "Buddy" (Teresa) Braun of Wisconsin.  Also surviving are eight grandchildren and one nephew and several cousins.

She was a registered nurse last working for OSF Cardiovascular.

Cremation rites have been accorded. While there will be no public services, Teri's family will privately celebrate her life. Her family encourages you to share your favorite stories and memories to honor her memory.
