Thomas Fritz

Thomas Alan Fritz, 62, of Peoria, passed away at Unity Point Health-Proctor on May 30, 2018.

Tom was born to John and Gladys Wallat Fritz on April 9, 1957, in Peoria.  He is survived by his beloved partner of many years, Brenda Rastegar, his mother, his sisters Diane (Hal) Corley and Susan (Marty) Obery, and his brothers Philip (Cayte)  Carlson and Larry (Jennice) Fritz. He is also survived by his nephews Jon Carlson and Peter Corley, and by his nieces Amy (Chad) Janken, Lindsey (Rich) Zerbian, and Ellen (Nick) Karalis.

A graduate of Dunlap High School, Tom served in the Submarine Corps of the U.S. Navy, after which he enjoyed a long career in TV and video service, both professionally and privately.  Tom's generosity of heart and spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him and the many, many people he helped.  He especially loved camping trips to the Canadian wilderness with his father and brothers, and his love of family, nature, and the human spirit will continue to guide those of us who will miss him always.
