Thomas Glass

Thomas J. Glass, 54, of East Peoria passed away at 12:26pm Tuesday July 12, 2011 in the emergency room of OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on September 7, 1956 in Pekin the son of Stanley O and Nellie L Fisher Glass. Surviving are his children Jason Hammond of East Peoria, Shannon D. Glass of Peoria, Scotty J. Glass of New York, and Cody T, Glass of Ballwin, MO. Also surviving are one grand daughter, two sisters Margie Pintar of Peoria, and Marion Miller of Indiana, two brothers Jack Glass of Peoria, and Jerry Wren of Fredrick, IL and his FiancAC.' Kathy Peck of East Peoria. His parents, one sister and one brother preceded him in death. Tom worked as a brick mason last working for Bollmeier Brick Laying Co. in Collinsville, IL. He was an avid fisherman, and was very sociable and loved being around family and friends, and genuinely enjoyed his children. Cremation rites have been accorded and a service to celebrate his life will be 2pm Monday July 18 at the Living Rock Assembly Church 1208 E. Duryea Ave Peoria Heights, IL. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Memorials may be given in his name to the American Heart Association.
