Thomas "Bonehead" Grant

Thomas R. "Bonehead" Grant, 57, of East Peoria passed away on Monday evening in the emergency room of OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on May 15, 1956 in Peoria the son of Donald P. and Emma M Paul Sr. Surviving are his daughters Sara Grant of Peoria and Danielle Grant and Ashley Grant both of Creve Coeur; one son Jarrod of East Peoria. Also surviving are two grandchildren two brothers Donald P. Grant Jr. of Peoria and Ronald W. (Michelle) Grant of Texas; three sisters Sharon T Stokes of East Peoria, Cynthia "Sue" (Ed) of Marquette Heights and Jeannette (Dave Sr.) Taylor of Creve Coeur as well as several nieces and nephews. His parents and two nephews preceded him in death. Tom enjoyed playing cards, riding his bike and gardening. Tom was an avid New York Yankees fan. Tom has donated his remains to Life Legacy Foundation for anatomical studies. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 4pm on Saturday June 29, 2013 at Tabernacle Break-Thru Ministries; 121 State St. East Peoria with Rev. Larry and Cindy Cravens will officiate. The family will then receive friends immediately after the service until 9pm.
