Timmy R. Blair, 62, of Glasford, IL passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at his residence.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Whitecap Drifters Boat Club, with Military Honors at 3:00 pm. Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to his daughter, Jessica Blair.
Timmy was born on December 8, 1962, in Peoria to Floyd and Anna (Rickard) Blair. He was previously married to Carmela Baldonado, whom he married on December 18, 1982, at White Sands Military Post in New Mexico. Though no longer married, they later reunited and remained close companions. She survives him.
He is also survived by his daughter, Jessica Blair, of Peoria; grandchildren, Brittany (McKale) Williams and Sabrina (Vernor Warr) Marliere; great-grandchildren, Payton, Houston, Legend, and Lance; nephews, Jason (Melissa) Clayton and Gerald Clayton; niece, Candice Kimbrell; and sister, Jody (Mike) Kimbrell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth Blair.
Timmy built a career as a heating and cooling technician, working independently and always lending a helping hand to those in need. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1981 to 1986. He was a member of the Navy-Marine Club Ship 34 in Peoria Heights. Whether out on the boat, working with his hands, or unwinding in his barn, Timmy found happiness in the simple pleasures of life.
