Tony G. Clark, 74, of Morton, Illinois, died on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, Illinois. 

Tony was born on October 2, 1951, in New Madrid, Missouri, the son of the late Claudius and Dorothy Johnson Clark. He is survived by his daughter, Stacie (Clint) Mustain of Coos Bay, Oregon; his son, Eric Clark of Creve Coeur, Illinois; and his grandson, Jackson (Becca) Parmof Mackinaw, Illinois. Also surviving are Sandy Barry, his companion of many years, with whom she shared her home. His brothers are Tim (Judy) Clark of Bell City, Missouri, and James (Carolyn) Clark of Chillicothe, Illinois. His sister is Diane (Robert) Clark of Kennett, Missouri.

Tony enjoyed watching baseball, especially cheering for his favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals. He also followed the St. Louis Blues hockey team. Golf was his true passion, and he played many courses in central Illinois and Punta Gorda, Florida, with his friends. He loved listening to the Eagles, the Doobie Brothers, and blues music. For many years, he spent winters at the Sun N. Shade RV Resort in Florida, where he made many close friends. 

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of his life will be on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Sandy's home, 22385 Oak Lane in Morton, from 4 pm until 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington has been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
