Vernessa "Mimi" Osborne

Vernessa Gayle "Mimi" Osborne, 65, of Peoria, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 19, 2024, in Mobile, AL, while visiting her daughter and family.

She was born on August 5, 1958, in Louisville, KY to David Payton and Angela Harris. She married Roy "Ed" Osborne in Peoria on March 20, 1984.

Surviving are her husband, their children Catherine Guffy of Peoria, Michelle (Tony) Harden of Mobile, AL Roy Guffy of Peoria, Amanda (Andrew Lantz) Osborne, Hunter Osborne, Izabelle Osborne, and Cloey Osborne, all of Peoria. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Lilly (Dave) Williams of Lexington, SC, and Debbie (Ted) Poindexter of Greenville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Jeremy Guffy and Andy Guffy.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church in Bartonville. Visitation will be one hour before her service.
