Waymon E. Fisher

Waymon E. Fisher, 70, of Peoria passed away peacefully on Wednesday Sept 5, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born November 25, 1941 in Loretto, TN the son of Freemon and Elizabeth Payne Fisher. He married Hazel M. Kinney on October 19, 1965 in Peoria. Surviving are his wife, two sons Anthony Fisher and Alex Fisher, one daughter Angela (Bobby) Leslie all of Peoria. Further surviving are nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren as well as three sisters Mary Lou (Dave) Austin, Marie Basso both of Indiana and Jean Troutwine of Arizona. His parents, one brother John William and one sister Bobbie Sue Shelton preceded him in death. He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company for 30 years retiring in 1999. He enjoyed camping, fishing and raccoon hunting. At the request of Waymon, cremation rites have been accorded with no services scheduled. Memorials may be given in his name may be given in the Alzheimer's Association, Central Illinois Chapter.
